this video will show you how your clients can book an appointment with gotomeeting directly on your calendar eliminating all the back and forth you normally go through g reminders is a service that works with your google or microsoft calendar let's get after it from the g reminders home screen you're going to want to click on your initials or picture in the upper right hand corner of the home page next you will click on event types now let's click on create my first event type you'll want to fill out the following information let's pretend that we're a financial advisor the name of our meeting would be financial review the description of the event would be for example your initial review of your financial goals under location we have a drop down menu if you click on this you can see the optional integrations we have let's click on go to meeting as you can see we also support other web meeting providers such as zoom google meet webex and others if you're interested in these watch our other videos next you will set up how you want this booked on your calendar if you have more than one calendar associated with g reminders you'll want to choose the calendar you want to enable bookings on set the event duration and how close to the event time they can book this is where we check against calendars for your open availability if you click here you will see that we are checking against default availability or you can choose just the one calendar you can set a time frame and days of the week that you want your clients to be able to book time with you this is where you would adjust the time to fit your needs note that we will automatically block out times where you already have appointments scheduled next are the fields that your clients will fill out and finally we have the wording of the event title just like in the templates these are customizable by cutting pasting and adding in text if you want to use this in conjunction with reminders please make sure the phone number is in the event description click create and you have successfully created your first event type this screen now shows that you have an event type created at the top of the screen is the link to your personal calendar common ways to share this link is to add it to your emails or put it on your website now let's look at what it looks like when up client books they will click on your link and they will go to the event type that they want to book as you can see time zones are handled in the upper right hand corner the system knows where your client is located your client will pick a time fill out the information that you asked for when you set up the event and once they hit schedule it will be on your calendar once the meeting is booked you will receive a notification let's go to our email this is what the email looks like now let's go back to our google or outlook calendar and see what this looks like on your calendar as you can see there are links to reschedule and cancel that your customer can use now let's go back to g reminders and see what it looks like on your home page that's it happy scheduling
