Job Summary

We're seeking a dynamic SDR Team Lead to join our sales organization as we expand our reach in the FinTech ecosystem. This hybrid role splits your time evenly between leading a small team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and actively prospecting enterprise-level accounts.

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you'll play a key part in scaling our outbound efforts, coaching your team to success, and closing high-value deals with financial institutions, wealth management firms, and advisor tech enterprises. Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership (30% of Time)
  • Manage and mentor a team of 3 SDRs, providing hands-on coaching, performance feedback, and development plans.
  • Monitor and review cold calls, emails, and outreach strategies to ensure alignment with best practices and company goals.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, team huddles, and training sessions to improve skills in lead generation, qualification, and objection handling.
  • Track team metrics and collaborate with the Director of Sales to optimize processes and hit quotas.
Prospecting (70% of Time)
  • Act as a "hunter" for enterprise accounts in the FinTech space, targeting financial advisors, wealth management firms, and related organizations.
  • Execute high-volume outbound activities, including cold calling, personalized email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach to generate qualified leads.
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their pain points in scheduling, client management, and CRM workflows, positioning GReminders as the ideal solution.
  • Collaborate with account executives to hand off opportunities and contribute to pipeline growth.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in outbound sales development (SDR/BDR roles), with proven cold calling and cold email success.
  • Experience in SaaS, FinTech, or financial services environments.
  • Understanding of advisor tech and the FinTech ecosystem (e.g., CRMs like Salesforce, Redtail, or Wealthbox).
  • Proven track record in cold calling and outbound sales, with a hunter mentality and ability to thrive in a high-energy, metrics-driven environment.
  • Experience managing or leading small teams, including coaching on calls and outreach strategies.
  • Comfortable delivering direct, constructive coaching and feedback.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections effectively.
  • Familiarity with sales tools (e.g., Apollo, Pipedrive, LinkedIn, etc.).
