Now learn how to send reminders on your colleagues events when they share their calendar with you. In GReminders, you can see your calendar in the list on the top left. Notice the bell icon and the number 2 next to the event. That means this event will trigger 2 reminders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s take a quick look at our reminder settings The way we currently have our system configured, we\u2019ll send reminders between 8am and 8pm This is important, we have selected to only send reminders when we are the organizer, that means if someone sends us an invite to an event, we won\u2019t be reminding them of their own event. This is a very typical setup. Finally, we have writeback status confirmation to source calendar selected so we can see on our calendar, when clients confirm their appointments. And here are our reminder templates. Let\u2019s go back to the main screen. We select Manage Calendars You can see that Mary has shared her calendar, so we select that we want to send reminders on Mary\u2019s calendar events. Mary\u2019s calendar is now in the calendar list and you can see an event on her calendar that is synced with GReminders. However, there is no bell icon, so no reminders will be triggered. This is because our system is set up only to only send reminders when we are the organizer. So we\u2019ll need to tell the system to treat Mary\u2019s events as our own. So we add the email associated with Mary\u2019s calendar to our Other Email list. Make sure to save your changes and let\u2019s take a look. And as you can see, events on a shared calendar will now trigger reminders.
