HubSpot is a great CRM for sales and marketing. If you schedule meetings with HubSpot and you want to send text reminders to your prospects and clients, it\u2019s really easy to do. You\u2019ve got to link to your Google or Outlook Office 365 calendar. So if you haven\u2019t done that, click on the cog wheel in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, click on Calendar, and then connect to your calendar. Choose the calendar you wish to connect to. In this example, we\u2019ll connect to our Google Calendar. We accept the terms and we make sure that we connect to the right account, and then grant permissions for HubSpot to access your Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar. It\u2019s real quick, and now you\u2019re 90% there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So let\u2019s schedule a meeting. We click on Contacts and we select one. Select Create Meeting. Now in the title portion, include whatever you wish for the title. Just make sure that you add your contact\u2019s mobile phone number in the title. We\u2019ll set up the date and time. The next important step is to make sure the \u201cAdd to Google or Outlook Calendar\u201d is selected. Once you select it, it will remain selected for future meetings that you schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Okay, that\u2019s it for HubSpot. Let\u2019s take a look at our Google Calendar. Here\u2019s the meeting that we just scheduled. You can see that the title that we created includes our contact\u2019s phone number, so really we\u2019re all set. So that was set on the 10th at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So let\u2019s jump over to G Reminders. Since G Reminders also connects to Google or Outlook, the meeting will appear here as well. You can see reminders are scheduled for this meeting\u2014in fact, two: a client reminder that will go out a day before the meeting and a personal reminder that is scheduled to be sent to the user 15 minutes prior to the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let\u2019s take a look at where we set up the reminders. Here we go. Our client reminder templates\u2014here you can set up reminders to go out immediately upon booking, anytime prior to the meeting, and even follow-up reminders. And you can include keywords in your title that will trigger specific reminders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
