We call it the <strong>GR Sidebar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As you know, GReminders tries to be a &#8220;background&#8221; application, which generally, once setup, just works in the background, sending client notifications, allowing clients to schedule with you and your teams, etc&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But there are certain actions that require a login, such as grabbing a Single Use Event Type Link, getting scheduling links from other team members, etc&#8230;   This is what the GR Sidebar is for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does it Do?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently it does the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Allows you to schedule &#8220;one off&#8221; meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gives you quick access to all of your Event Types, all of your teammates&#8217; Event Types and Team Event Types<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quick Access to copy Single Use Links that you can share in your emails or any other messaging app<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access &#8220;Favorited&#8221;\/Starred Event Type Links<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is what it will look like in your Browser when you open it.   It really is a &#8220;Sidebar&#8221;.  You can open and close it anytime&#8211;very helpful when you are in the context of your Email or any messaging application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"886\" height=\"568\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/SULAnimation.gif\" alt=\"GReminders Sidebar\" class=\"wp-image-7017\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Install it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to the Google Chrome Store and Install it to your Chrome Browser  (Edge users download it here as well)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-horizontal is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-1 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/chromewebstore.google.com\/detail\/greminders-sidebar\/fipiiahemocaphlaiflficiopcimhdal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Install from Chrome Store<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you are in the Chrome Store, Click the Add to Chrome button<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once installed, click on the puzzle icon and PIN IT. You can toggle the Sidebar by simply clicking on the GR icon in your browser toolbar.     Easy Access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">One Off Meetings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is probably one of the most useful things.   Say you want to set up a meeting with your client but want to include one of your colleagues in the meeting (and of course you want to make sure your colleague is also available at the same time you are).   Previously in order to do this you had to create a Team, then create an All Together Event Type with a bunch of settings.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, simply hit the PLUS button in GR Sidebar, add your colleague (Michael Scott in this case), select a duration and location and hit Generate.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"341\" height=\"384\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/one-off.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6983\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/one-off.png 341w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/one-off-266x300.png 266w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 341px) 100vw, 341px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>This will automatically generate a &#8220;One Time Link&#8221; for you and your colleague(s):<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"375\" height=\"391\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/one-off-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6985\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/one-off-2.png 375w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/one-off-2-288x300.png 288w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>This link will be automatically copied to your clipboard. Click Details.  Check the version you are on when communicating with Support on any Issues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From here you can also remove and reinstall the Chrome Extension (see the installation notes above for Installing).   Oftentimes if you have an issue, deleting and reinstalling the Chrome Extension is helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any issues, please contact support@greminders.com. Screenshots or a detailed description of what you are seeing is always very helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Managing Version Upgrades<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, your browser will keep the Sidebar\/Chrome Extension up to date automatically. You generally do not need to manually update the extension.
