GReminders supports Public Booking and Scheduling page<\/a>s for your clients and customers to book on your Calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By default, if you link or share these booking pages on your website Google, Bing, and other search engines will try to index them and make them discoverable via Search. Often called “SEO” (Search Engine Optimization).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are a salesperson prospecting for clients, you may want this, if you are in healthcare or some other industry where you want to keep your calendar links more private you may not want this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an administrator of GReminders, you decide if your Organization should allow Google and others to index Public Booking Pages for your Users, OR if you want to block these from search engines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By default, this setting is enabled. To disable this go to Org Settings > General and under Global Calendar Options you can uncheck “Allow Booking Pages to be Indexed by Search Engines”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unchecking this box will add a noindex tag on your public booking pages for all your users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “noindex” tag is an HTML meta tag that is used to instruct search engines not to index a particular webpage or not to include it in their search results. When search engine bots crawl a website, they typically index the content so that it can be displayed in search engine results pages (SERPs). However, there are cases where website owners may not want certain pages to be indexed for various reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By adding the “noindex” meta tag to the HTML code of a webpage, webmasters can signal to search engines that they do not want that specific page to be included in search results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
