Below are the steps to setup a form that will search for the client&#8217;s contact record in Redtail (by email), and then link them to their Servicing Advisor&#8217;s scheduling calendar (you can also route to Writing Advisor).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prerequisites to Setting up this type of Routing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>You have Redtail Connected to GReminders<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>You are using Event Type Templates for your Users<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Your CRM Users are also GReminders Users<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your Contact Record in Redtail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For this to work, you&#8217;ll need to make sure each client has a Servicing or Writing Advisor associated with their contact record:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"668\" height=\"572\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/RedtailSA.jpg\" alt=\"Servicing Advisor in Redtail\" class=\"wp-image-5612\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/RedtailSA.jpg 668w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/RedtailSA-300x257.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 668px) 100vw, 668px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Set up a Managed Event Type Template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Begin by setting up an Event Type for the advisors in the office. You&#8217;ll set up Event Type Templates under Org Settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"842\" height=\"363\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/EventTypeTemplate.jpg\" alt=\"Event Type Templates\" class=\"wp-image-5608\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/EventTypeTemplate.jpg 842w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/EventTypeTemplate-300x129.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/EventTypeTemplate-768x331.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 842px) 100vw, 842px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Set up a Routing Form<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Under Management, select Routing and start a new form.  After naming the form and including an internal description, include a public name and description:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"842\" height=\"486\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/RoutingForm1.jpg\" alt=\"Start a new routing form\" class=\"wp-image-5609\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/RoutingForm1.jpg 842w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/RoutingForm1-300x173.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/RoutingForm1-768x443.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 842px) 100vw, 842px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then select Add A Question and select Email from Preexisting Questions (you can customize the label to say something like, &#8220;Please use the email address assoc with your account&#8221; under Custom Questions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on <strong>Save &amp;<\/strong> <strong>Continue<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you&#8217;ll determine where clients will be routed based on the email address they enter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"844\" height=\"584\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/RoutingForm2.jpg\" alt=\"Route to advisor\" class=\"wp-image-5610\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/RoutingForm2.jpg 844w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/RoutingForm2-300x208.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/RoutingForm2-768x531.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 844px) 100vw, 844px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Under &#8220;Route to&#8221; select Event Type Template and the name of the template you created for this purpose, Annual Review in the example above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on should be &#8220;Contact Ownership on Redtail CRM&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Match = Email. <strong><em>Note: if you would like to match to other criteria such as phone or address, these can be used instead of email, but email is generally the most unique way to match a contact as a phone number can be shared, etc.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then indicate that you would like to match the Email Address to the Servicing or Writing Advisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, include a fallback route.
