With <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greminders.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GReminders<\/a>, it is easy to send different reminders for different locations!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many ways to send different reminders for each location, but let&#8217;s take a look at some of the most common options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>You can use the Event Location as a Criteria in your Client Reminders.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>You can have 2 separate calendars and use the Calendar Name as a Criteria in your Client Reminders.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>You can use the Event Title as a Criteria in your Client Reminders.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s take a closer look at each of these options and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First, you will want to select \u2018Client Reminders\u2019 in the left-hand menu.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Next, select to create a \u2018New Client Reminder\u2019 and you will see this screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery aligncenter has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"540\" data-id=\"6471\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Picture1-1.png\" alt=\"criteria\" class=\"wp-image-6471\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Picture1-1.png 624w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Picture1-1-300x260.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">For each option, we will use \u2018Criteria\u2019 to determine what Reminders will be sent for each location.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Event Location Criteria:<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong><strong>How you schedule your meeting will determine where you enter the location.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you are entering the event into the calendar manually, simply enter the location into that event for this use.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"343\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Picture4.png\" alt=\"location in google\" class=\"wp-image-6474\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Picture4.png 624w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Picture4-300x165.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you are using our GReminders Event Types and your clients are scheduling the meeting, you will want to ensure you have your location options entered into your Event Type. You can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/multi-location-event-types\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click Here<\/a> to learn more about locations in Event Types.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Once you have the location entered into the event, you can use it in your Client Reminders in multiple ways. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>This is where we can start to get custom!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Client Reminder Criteria for Event Location:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Event Location > contains the word or phrase > \u201c<em>desired location name<\/em>\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"177\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Picture5.png\" alt=\"event location criteria\" class=\"wp-image-6475\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Picture5.png 624w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Picture5-300x85.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Simply follow these steps to begin creating a Client Reminder that will only be used when this location is mentioned. Remember that you can utilize the OR\/AND functions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example: Event Location &gt; Sacramento OR Event Location &gt; Sactown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After adding any other criteria needed, you can scroll down in this Client Reminder to create the custom message for the location you selected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Using the Event Location in your messages:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">You can easily enter in the {{event.location}} custom field into any of your Client Reminder messages, if the location field is being used on the calendar event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"361\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/image-1-1024x361.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10944\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/image-1-1024x361.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/image-1-300x106.png 300w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/image-1-768x271.png 768w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/image-1.png 1282w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Note, that this reminder will only fire for the location that you submitted in the template. An email address is also acceptable in this field.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After adding any other criteria needed, you can scroll down in this Client Reminder to create the custom message for the location you selected. Note, that this reminder will only fire for the calendar name that you submitted in the template. Repeat this process for each of your calendars, and they will each get their unique reminders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Event Title Criteria:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, you can use the Event Title to define the location of your event and determine which Client Reminder(s) will be sent.
