When you start a new account with GReminders, you will be automatically creating an Organization with a Single User.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can add more users to your Organization by simply inviting these users to your Organization. Go to Setup &gt; Users and click Invite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/profiles-users\/\">New Users<\/a> and invite your Users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"220\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-38-1024x220.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11379\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-38-1024x220.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-38-300x65.png 300w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-38-768x165.png 768w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-38.png 1306w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>All you need is an email address and they will receive an email invite to sign up with GReminders.   You can customize the invite message.    As a best practice, it is good to let them know this invitation is coming so they know to expect it and is something they will recognize.   Once they accept the invite they will be added to your organization.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding users to your account will incur additional monthly user license charges.  Exact pricing depends on your plan, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/pricing\">see pricing for details<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: Users you invite must be using a Google Microsoft \/ Office 365 \/ Outlook or Redtail Calendar.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that you are adding more than 1 user it is also a good idea to understand the Organizational structure of your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below you will see a general outline of the GReminders Organizational Hierarchy. Almost everything you see in the SETUP section will affect the entire Organization. The two concepts to understand are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Organizations OWN Users, Event Type Templates and Reminder Templates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Users OWN their Calendars and Event Types.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This diagram describes how the Org and User structure is setup:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1004\" height=\"547\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/gr_org_structure.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1649\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/gr_org_structure.png 1004w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/gr_org_structure-300x163.png 300w, https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/gr_org_structure-768x418.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1004px) 100vw, 1004px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This means that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/event-type-templates-for-administrators\/\">Event Type Templates<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/manage-reminder-templates-for-your-organization\/\">Reminder Templates<\/a> (SMS, Email, etc&#8230;) span the Organization and will be used by ALL users or subsets of users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Users control their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/manage-calendars\/\">Calendars<\/a> and can control Event Types if their profile permissions allow it.
