{"id":10546,"date":"2026-04-19T22:41:45","date_gmt":"2026-04-19T22:41:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/?p=10546"},"modified":"2026-04-19T22:44:28","modified_gmt":"2026-04-19T22:44:28","slug":"single-sign-on-saml","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/single-sign-on-saml\/","title":{"rendered":"Single Sign On &#8211; SAML"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>GReminders offers a variety of Sign On options.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/changing-your-login-account\/\">Google Workspace \/ GMail Account<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/changing-your-login-account\/\">Microsoft Account<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Username and Password (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greminders.com\/articles\/2fa-two-factor-authentication\/\">optional w\/ 2FA<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SAML (Your Enterprise Identity Provider such as Okta, OneLogin, etc&#8230;)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Note, that if your Google or Microsoft Account are using Okta or another IdP you can simple use the Microsoft or Google Login which will already proxy to Okta or similar.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to setup SAML directly, this article is for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting it Setup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In your IdP provider, lets use Okta as an example, setup a new Application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked for your SAML Sign On URL use:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>https:&#47;&#47;app.greminders.com\/saml2\/acs<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>For Audience URI you can use &#8220;greminders&#8221; or any other unique value you like<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Application Username use Email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next you will need to download the Metadata XML file provided to you by your IdP.     This is typically the Metadata URL.  You may need to copy and paste it into your browser.   Copy the output of the XML file into your clipboard<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, within GReminders.
